I don’t regret this purchase at all, and am happy to have snagged it before Tariffs on products like this took effect. This oven is fantastic, packed with features I love and some I probably admittedly won’t take full advantage of but still appreciate having, and is well-made and well-designed in the way all Breville’s products are. I’ve had zero problems with it. I named it ‘Toasty’ in the Breville+ app. I’ve used it for everything from weeknight cookery of various proteins to baking breads to reheating pizza slices, and I’m thrilled — I’m sure you will be too.

I got this as a present and I’m blown away by all the features. I have no trouble connecting to the app. The unit has everything labeled. It has each shelf level on the glass. When you choose what to cook like bagels, it tells you what level to ate the rack. I have tried multiple recipes and cooking function guides. They walk you through each step. The air fryer cheese cake is amazing and the 8” size is perfect. It was thick and creamy like New York cheesecake I won’t be buying store bought cheesecake anymore. I also like the safety feature of even though you turn on the oven by the app you need to be there to push a button to start the oven as it makes sure the oven is not being turned on accidentally by malfunctioning app. If you’re looking for a small oven for an apartment or a second oven so you can cook small portions without heating the big oven I highly suggest this one.

I was not certain that I would keep the oven due to the price and it was bigger than I expected. But once we started using it, it became a must have. We use it significantly more than our gas range/oven and my teenage son can use it more easily as well. The app is a great feature to control settings and find recipes. The only downside is how hot the door gets. I burned myself a few times before deciding to always wear a not not just pads or grabbers.

Overall - I give it 5 stars. I owned a previous version of the Air Fryer Pro oven and I loved it until it stopped working after several years. The improvements in the Joule oven are nice. Easier to read and better instructions on the screen - i.e. which rack position for which function. The only issue I've had is temperature. It never gets to temp set. I purchased an oven thermometer from combustioninc.com and so I'm able to monitor the temperature that way. It's 50 degrees off on the low side which can make a difference in bread, other baking etc. I'm also not a fan of the orange - but that's an issue I can get used to. Overall - it's a fabulous little oven that cooks well.

This oven is far superior to our previous countertop ovens so comparisons are difficult. The Breville temperatures are accurate (no more having to make mental adjustments), the settings intuitive for ease of use, and it is much easier to keep clean. Being the owner of Joule immersion circulators, I often use the Breville+ app and have found the autopilot recipes delicious as well as inspirational. I would like to be able to tweak the autopilot recipes and create and include my own and hopefully, those enhancements will be included as the app is updated. We should not have struggled for years "making do" with other less expensive countertop ovens.

My previous Breville toaster oven needed to be replaced (a sad day). I selected another Breville looking for a better air fry option than using my instapot fry option (so small). Love the ease of using all the features. Even enjoy the app with my phone turning the oven on, auto setting the timer. I was thinking these features I would use less, but find them so helpful when I'm trying to be fast and multitask a midweek dinner. It does take a lot longer to toast. Morning toast for 2 people with the larger oven is not as fast as the smaller toaster ovens. The toast is still cooked perfectly.

The Joulé is the 3rd Breville Oven I’ve had. Began with the 800, the upgraded to the 900Air Fryer Pro. And this spring, upgraded again to the Joulé. I love it. The ability to use the App on my iPhone to program a recipe from the App and have the Joulé handle the temp, timing, and when finished is very cool. I find the Toaster function does a better job than the 900Air Fryer Pro, as does the Air Fryer. Very pleased with it, and for what it’s worth, I was able to sell my previous 2 Brevilles as I upgraded.

We upgraded to the Joule/Breville+ Air Fryer and are so happy we did. Already a very solid oven which can quickly become a replacement to the oven installed in your kitchen. You'll realize the heating is far more even and exact as well as its interface is so easy to use that you can help but start experimenting with new recipes. That's where the Joule aspect really sets the bar higher — install the app on your phone or an iPad and have step by step instructions to a massive library of ever-changing ideas and recipes. And because it controls the oven controls and timing, it's nearly fool-proof. I can't express how great this is to for home chefs. We did have a small issue with the oven almost a year after purchase (the fan was making a noise) and customer support was excellent and prompt and Breville chose to replace the oven entirely (above and beyond what they needed to do). Very impressed and truly loyal to this brand and product.

We replaced our tried and true Breville toaster oven with this shiny new model with the air fryer option. I couldn't be happier with this tiny titan. Also, they've made it really easy to use and to learn how to do stuff like using the air fryer. On this model when you switch the function (like from toast to bake) it shows you on the display where the rack should be positioned for ideal cooking. It's really handy that I'm not expected to remember that stuff. Our freezer appetizers have never tasted better or been done faster. Also, I thought the app was a little over the top but it's really great to get a notification when my food is done or needs attention so I've come to rely on it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get another one of these to give my mom for Mother's Day. No complaints.

I have been a Joule/ Chefsteps fan from the beginning. I have convinced all of my relatives to get a sous vide and they are now convinced of the benefits. Now, I will be the new family salesman for this amazing oven. It does really cook with the precision of something you would expect with a Joule nameplate on it. The speed that it heats up and the control over the individual elements makes it the easiest oven I have ever cooked in. My wife has a large Dutch oven that she bakes sourdough bread with and it actually fits in this oven and cooks the 25% faster! I have yet to try the Autopilot function but I have no doubt it will be great. Every thing we have thrown at this oven has come out better than expected. Only wish I would have bought it a year ago.

I have two other Breville kitchen products and love both of them. So, when we decided to get a new countertop oven this was the first brand I thought of. Yes, Breville products are more expensive and you get what you pay for. This replaced an older smaller countertop oven and an air fryer that had been moved to the garage. The Breville is far superior to both in every way. We air fried brussel sprouts on day one and they were spectacular. We've also done some sheet pan dinners using the Breville plus app to automate the process. Couldn't be happier and we're looking forward to using it more and more.

So far I am loving it!! A few tips... don't follow the Air fry instructions on the back of packages. This Air Fryer is so much larger than the typical little ones, this one need more time and higher heat. I have been trying new recipes from the Joule app, and LOVING them!! Can you add some basic things in there though? For example, if I just want to air fry some chicken breasts for a different recipe.. there isn't any info on what temp or time or what setting is best. I've tried just putting chicken breast in the app and nothing comes up. Sometimes I don't want to do a whole meal in there- just need to cook part of the meal. So add some easy things like baked potatoes or baked sweet potatoes, and cook times for chicken breasts please. :)

My wife bought this for our family Christmas Gift. I am very happy with the oven. We have used some of the recipes and love the automation as well as the recipes themselves. We have made pizza a couple of times and the pizza is cooked evenly with perfect crust crispness. We used the air fryer and it worked flawlessly. I'll take this any day over the cheap LG range that came with the house. My cooking is just for myself so I don't need to heat up a large oven. This preheats quickly and accurately. Once I got past a vague instruction for pairing the oven with the phone app, it's been smooth sailing. Th only thing I wish were available would be a steel that wold fit for making Neapolitan style pizza.

I love the larger Joule oven interior size, it's my main oven since my 100 yr. old mother had a fire in the regular kitchen oven and I don't plan to replace it as the Joule is easier and safer for her to use. I bought this oven three weeks ago as an upgrade from a competitor’s model. First and foremost I really appreciate the interior size of this oven. I am able to use quarter sheer pans, 9 X 13 baking pans, and a13” pizza pan which allows me to bake my own round pizzas. The oven interior has a very nice nonstick surface which makes it easy to clean. Both the oven interior and racks are built with similar quality of what you would expect in a full sized oven. Everything I’ve tried to bake and cook has come out very well. This oven has a “super convection” mode for air frying which works surprisingly well. When I air fry potato wedges they come out beautifully browned and crispy without having to shake the air fryer basket halfway through. This Joule oven can be controlled from a smartphone app or even Alexa. I’ve just begun experimenting with the app and it seems very useful. I just pick an ingredient recipe from the app and tell it to start cooking. The oven sets the recipe temperature and preheats. Once preheated it pauses and alerts you that it’s time to put your food in the oven. Some recipes even work on what’s referred to as “autopilot”. This appears to automatically take the oven through its multi-cooker phases. Plus with a two year warranty, this was a very good purchase for me. This oven will easily do everything my full size kitchen oven does, and then some.

So far everything I have cooked in this amazing machine had come out perfect! The recipes that are in the app are good, and just everyday things I prepare come out perfect! It is easy enough to clean, and the controls are obvious and super easy to set and use. The only things that I wish it had but does not: you can't program any cooking profile, like they have in their app. So, for example, in the app it might cook a chicken at a high temp, lower it, raise it, and near the end raise it higher then slowly taper down. Nope. If you want to do that yourself, you have to do it manually.

I have owned 2 prior Brevell toaster/convection ovens. I used them every day - actually, I don't use my big oven anymore. I highly recommend getting one. This Toaster/oven air fryer is the best of them all. It may take a few more minutes to air fry than just an air fryer, but the capacity of the Joule air Fryer is about 4 times more than my old one. I still use it every day and am amazed at how this one works. It's a must have.

I love Joule oven. A lot of people complain about the air fryer. I do not seem to have a problem with mine. I always keep baking sheet pan underneath of it so it does not get messy in the oven. I love the way it toast, bread and bagels. I bought a really cool pan that cooks bacon. It has a little rack that keeps the bacon separate so it does not stick together cooks. The air fryer makes great bacon with it.
