The Breville Innovation Program is a process to identify innovations and initiate new projects to bring great ideas to Breville customers worldwide. We invite existing Breville suppliers, new potential suppliers, research institutes, universities, and individual inventors to share their innovations with us. The focus of this program is to commercialize patented innovations that add value to premium small kitchen appliances and coffee-related products.

 

Generally, if an innovation is accepted by Breville, the owner and Breville will enter into a royalty-based licensing agreement. This process enables innovators to get their inventions to market without spending significant time and money on their own product development. However, the more a product innovation has been developed toward mass manufacturing (such as a working prototype), the faster Breville can evaluate the innovation and potentially take that innovation to market.

 

We invite you to propose ideas, solutions, new technologies, products, and/or services that you believe would delight Breville’s customers wherein you own the intellectual property to that innovation. The best opportunities to submit to Breville are those innovations that are protected by issued patents in three jurisdictions: United States, European Union, and China.

Initially, please submit only non-confidential material. Following a demonstration of your technology, if there is a great fit with Breville we’ll propose a mutual non-disclosure agreement to safeguard the interests of both parties.

 

By submitting your proposal there is no obligation on the part of Breville to engage in any relationship (commercial or otherwise) with the party making the submission.
