    Nespresso introduces Vertuo - the ultimate brewing experience which conveniently brews four cup sizes at the touch of a button. The crema, a rich and generous hazelnut-colored foam, is naturally formed of coffee and air during the brewing process using Centrifusion™, a patented extraction technology developed by Nespresso.

    Centrifusion™ technology

    Just insert a capsule and close the lever — when activated, the capsule spins up to 7,000 rotations per minute, blending ground coffee with water and producing the perfect crema to enjoy quality coffee in larger cup sizes.

    Capsule recognition technology

    Vertuo delivers the optimal in-cup result for each blend using capsule capsule recognition and code reading technology for blend-specific parametric brewing.
