Toasted nuggets of salty cashew goodness! Make a double batch and keep them in the cupboard. Add them to your trail mix, sprinkle them into a stir fry or use them to jazz up your favorite salad.
1Evenly spread the cashews in the air fry basket. Insert the basket into rack position 2. Set the oven to Bake, No Fan, 450°F, for 4 minutes and press Start to lightly toast the cashews.
2Remove the cashews from the oven and stand for 10 minutes to cool.
3Adjust the oven to Air Fry, Super Convection, 300°F, for 10 minutes, confirm Rotate Remind and press Start. Meanwhile, place the egg white in a large bowl and whisk until frothy. Add the salt and whisk for 1 minute, or until soft peaks form.
4Add the cooled cashews to the egg white and stir to coat. Evenly spread the cashews in a single layer, in the air fry basket.
5Place the basket in rack position 3 and cook for 10 minutes. When the Rotate Remind signals, carefully stir the cashews and continue cooking.
6The cashews should be golden brown. If not, cook for a few more minutes.
7Cashews can be served warm or cooled. Cool completely before storing in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
