How to clean portafilter and filter basket

Regular cleaning of your Bambino® Plus espresso machine is essential for maintaining it in peak working condition. It also ensures each and every cup of coffee it makes tastes incredible. 
By regularly cleaning each component, you remove loose coffee grounds and built-up oils, so nothing gets between you and the flavor of your freshly brewed third wave coffee. We recommend that you clean the portafilter and filter baskets after each brewing session. 
First, wash the filter basket and portafilter under hot water, using a soft scrub brush and gentle dish soap. If you notice that the filter basket’s holes are blocked, use the steam wand cleaning tool to unblock them, allowing water to flow through smoothly. 
Next, dry the portafilter and filter basket so they are ready for the next use.
