How to create latte art: the tulip & rosetta

Latte art is the perfect way to top your third wave specialty coffee brewed using the Bambino® Plus. Once you've mastered the basic dot and intermediate-level heart patterns, you're ready to learn how to make The Tulip and The Rosetta. These expert latte art patterns both start with making The Dot. To form The Tulip, begin by holding the cup of espresso at an angle, increasing the surface area of the espresso. From a height several inches above the coffee, start pouring the microfoam milk in a steady stream. Gradually straighten the cup while bringing the spout of the milk jug closer to the coffee until it nearly touches it. When you see the milk dot begin to form, pause the pour, and resume just past the first dot. Pause again and then continue pouring. When you have formed a few arcs in a row, pour the last of the milk through the arcs to create The Tulip. The Rosetta begins the same way. When you bring the milk just close to the surface of the coffee, gently wiggle the spout, forming a series of leaves. Finally, pour the last of the milk through these leaves, forming the leaves of The Rosetta.
